The results of the 2026 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB), one of the world’s most prestigious wine competitions, held in Yerevan in May, have been announced.
Nearly 400 international wine experts evaluated more than 7,700 wines from around 60 countries during blind tastings conducted in the Armenian capital.
The Armenian wine industry achieved a remarkable result, winning 2 Grand Gold, 13 Gold, and 20 Silver medals.
“Two of the most memorable and spontaneously applauded wines during the tastings were the Armenian Noa Red Reserve and Karas Reserve Blend.
These wines were awarded the highest distinction – the Grand Gold medal – impressing members of the international jury with their unique balance and uncompromising quality.
The success of Armenian wines once again demonstrates the growing reputation and competitiveness of Armenia’s wine industry on international platforms,” the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia said in a news release.
