For the second consecutive year, Armenia participated in and successfully showcased itself at Wine Paris, one of the most influential global events in the wine and spirits sector.
The Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia stated that the event took place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, an exhibition and conference center in the French capital.
With the support of the Vine and Wine Foundation and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), 23 Armenian winemaking companies presented Armenian wine culture on the international stage under a national unified pavilion, attracting numerous producers, importers, sommeliers, buyers, and industry leaders from around the world.
“Participation in Wine Paris 2026 was an important platform for Armenia to strengthen its position within the global winemaking community. Armenian wine is part of history—fermented and celebrated centuries ago. Today, that heritage is being revived in modern wines that carry both ancient character and a contemporary spirit. It is also noteworthy that winemaking has become a significant sector for the country’s economy, and one of the steps toward its development is presenting it on international platforms,” said Zaruhi Muradyan, CEO of the Vine and Wine Foundation.
Armenian Ambassador to France, Arman Khachatryan, visited the expo and discussed opportunities for exporting Armenian wines to France.
Armenia is also set to host the 2026 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles international wine competition.
